Yesterday, Orange experienced an outage from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This outage, which affected the mobile network, was nationwide. As a result, all of France was unable to make calls, send SMS and MMS messages, or browse the web (including email).
No information has been given about the source of this outage, except for a statement from the operator’s spokesperson: “The Orange mobile network has been experiencing problems since 4:00 p.m. due to a major incident.” The outage also affected Free Mobile subscribers.
