LG has finally unveiled today its first smartphone with a 6-inch curved display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor and Android 4.2.2. It also features an OLED screen with 720p resolution, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The display remains ideal for watching movies in landscape mode. Its camera has 13-megapixel resolution on the back and 2.1-megapixel resolution on the front, with a 3500 mAh battery.
As for the volume buttons, they are just like those on the G2, located near the camera on the back of the phone.
Now for the most exciting part, LG mentioned that they have added “self-healing” technology. This technology is a special protective film placed on the back of the device. The company claims it can heal small scratches on the phone within a few minutes.
For now there is no information on the price and availability of the device, but it will first be available in South Korea as early as next month.
