During its conference, the Altice group unveiled a brand-new box that is, to date, the most powerful on the market! Indeed, the Zive Box from the SFR group is a new “all-in-one” box, the smallest and most powerful of premium boxes. The best TV experience and a new interface for multi-screen use. The first NFC and Bluetooth box on the market.
The smallest and most powerful of premium boxes, the SFR Zive Fibre Box, a new box unique on the French market, featuring innovative functions and advanced uses, at the heart of the home. It relies on France’s first Fibre network, with more than 7.4 million eligible premises to date (from 100Mbit/s to 1Gbit/s). Designed in France, it is equipped with a 1Gbit/s Fibre modem, a 4K/UHD TV decoder and a 500GB hard drive for recording and live pause control. The SFR Zive Fibre Box offers the best WiFi on the market, with support for the 802.11ac standard in “dual band” configuration to reach a theoretical bandwidth of 1,750Mbit/s. It also includes an HDMI In port to control other uses from your TV (Chromecast stick, video game console, Blu-ray player), further strengthening the box’s central place within the home.
The best TV experience and a new interface for multi-screen use:

Thanks to its 8 tuners, you can notably watch a live 4K/UHD stream while keeping an eye on another channel with Picture in Picture, record two other streams, distribute a stream to a device within the home, and enjoy the best channel-switching speed on the market with Quick’Zap.
The SFR Zive Fibre Box also stands out with Restart, a function unique in France that lets you start a program over from the beginning.
At launch, SFR is unveiling its new simple and ergonomic interface to deliver the best multi-screen TV experience. Designed around the needs of the family and rolled out on the new version of the SFR TV app, this interface offers continuity of use at home and on the go.
The first NFC and Bluetooth box on the market:

The SFR Zive Fibre Box stands out both for its technological power and associated services, and for the digital experience it delivers at the heart of the home. It is the first box to natively integrate NFC and Bluetooth contactless technologies, allowing you to connect other devices in the home with a simple touch and providing genuine ease of use. Thanks to simplified WiFi, pairing between devices happens automatically and without installation: for example, simply tap your NFC-enabled smartphone against the box to connect devices, listen to music on your phone and send it via Bluetooth to your home cinema sound system. In time, other connected devices will emerge to expand uses at the heart of the home.
SFR is also innovating with the arrival of Zive on its box. Indeed, the Zive SVOD offer, launched on November 17 in France and exclusively for Group customers, will enrich the SFR Zive Fibre Box with more than 5,000 programs in HD and nearly 600 4K/UHD titles (see press release: Zive, the Altice group’s video-on-demand service, in preview and exclusively for SFR fixed and mobile customers). The SFR Zive Fibre Box will be available with the Fibre Power+ offer.
