Here is a tutorial to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad running iOS 12.3 up to iOS 13 and later, using the Checkra1n tool.

Jailbreak tutorial with Checkra1n:

Step 1: Download Checkra1n

On the checkra.in website. Open the downloaded file and drag Checkra1n into the Applications folder.

Step 2: Open Checkra1n on your computer

Open the Applications folder on your Mac, launch Checkra1n and connect your iPhone or iPad with a USB cable. In the Checkra1n app, click “Start” at the bottom right, then “Next” and “Start”.

Step 3: Put your iPhone or iPad into DFU mode:

• iPhone 8 or iPhone X: press the volume up button once, then the volume down button once, then press and hold the Power button (on the right) until your iPhone displays a cable and a computer.
• iPad with Face ID: same procedure as above
• iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPod touch (7th generation): press and hold the top button (or side button) and the volume down button simultaneously. Keep holding them until the recovery mode screen appears.
• iPad with Home button, iPhone 6s (or earlier model) and iPod touch 6th generation (or earlier model): press and hold the Home button and the top button (or side button) simultaneously. Keep holding them until the recovery mode screen appears

Step 4: Open the Checkra1n app on your device and install Cydia

A Checkra1n app is now available on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Launch it, then tap Cydia to install it.

There you go, you now have Cydia and can install tweaks! Please note that the jailbreak is semi-tethered: the above procedure must be repeated after every restart of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If you don’t have a computer, your device will run the base version of iOS without Cydia, and therefore without jailbreak.
