Sennheiser HD25 Amperior Headphones Review

Sennheiser HD 25 Amperior

The Sennheiser HD 25 delivers sound quality with optimal comfort that will please most music lovers. However, those who enjoy listening to music with heavy bass will not be won over.

First of all, the HD 25 features a clean design with an aluminum look that gives it a rather classy style. Moreover, the comfort of the ear pads makes listening in good conditions possible: after several hours of use, I noticed that the pads were of fairly good quality, which prevents sweating with a headset that slips. Indeed, the stability of the headphones is good, since the headband arms allow you to adjust the headset to the right height (depending on the user’s head), which is really convenient. However, in summer, I noticed that the pads react to heat, which made use less pleasant.

Otherwise, when it comes to the finishes, there is still room for improvement, as they are made of plastic, but they remain of good quality despite the apprehension one might have.

The sound quality this headset offers is truly excellent. I tested music tracks of different styles, and the clarity of the hi-hat and cymbals resonates really well when listening. Overall, the sound this HD25 produces is of optimal quality for every type of user. However, for those who like bass, they will unfortunately not be won over, as the bass tends to be boomy.

The positive points:

  • Good audio quality
  • Comfortable to use
  • A simple design

The negative points:

  • The finishes
  • Lack of bass

In conclusion, the Sennheiser in Periard is not the best headset I have tested, but it is still a very good headset. For the price, Sennheiser could have offered better finishes on this headset (more refined), but this headset remains comfortable with a very decent audio quality.
